Senior Olivia Gover will be competing at the MHSAA State Championship meet @ the Michigan International Speedway on Saturday, November 7th. Grover earned a chance to compete with a strong senior season that saw her lead the Lady Indians in every race over the course of the season. Grover saved her best for the end of the season, setting new Personal Records for the 5K race in her last three meets of the season.
Grover's hard work and perseverance saw her finish out her high school running with her best season yet. She was the number 1 finishing individual in the Pre-Regional meet hosted by Ithaca, and followed up that performance with a number 5 finish at the Regional meet hosted by DeWitt. Her finishing time in the Regional meet of 21:32 represents the best finishing time for a Cheasaning Girl runner in the last two seasons, and the first to qualify for the state meet since 2018.
