Chesaning opened its season home with a pair of conference games against Mt Morris. In game 1 the Indians the Lady Indians collected 12 hits with every player in the line up getting a hit. The Indians also got a strong pitching performance from Ellie DuRussel who went 7 innings giving up only 1 hit with 3 earned runs 20 strikeouts and 6 walks. DuRussel also collected 2 doubles with 2 rbi. Ava Devereaux also had 2 hits with 2 rbi scoring 2 runs and Allison Oakes had 2 hits and scored a run.
