Chesaning Boys Track & Field completed the sweep of the MMAC League meets to secure their first MMAC Conference Championship, and first conference title since 2017. The Indians entered the league championship meet with first place victories in the first 2 league meets, with the goal of finishing the season undefeated in conference competition. “Our boys were really motivated for the meet today, and wanted to show that we are the top team in our conference. We have done a really good job at performing as a team this season, scoring in all 17 events. Levi Maier continued his strong running with 2 individual conference champion performances and a leg on the league winning 1600 meter relay team. Senior Brenden Quackenbush continued his dominant performance in the field events with a victory in Shot Put and a second place finish in Discus.” The Indians finish out their season with a trip to Clare for the MITCA Team State Meet on Saturday, May 28th followed by the MHSAA State Finals on June 3rd at Kent City High School.
