The Indians hosted the Corunna Cavaliers Friday night and earned their first win of the season.  It was a low scoring first half with the Indians holding a 11-5 edge going into the locker room.  The team scored 11 points in the 3rd quarter and led the whole game until Corunna tied it up 28-28 with 27 seconds left in the game. With 8 seconds left, Ava Devereaux found Charley Mahan cutting to the basket for the winning layup. 

Lots of credit to our team defense tonight the intensity was there for 32 minutes. Corunna only had 3 players score with Sydnie Gillett scoring a game high 17 points including 9 of 10 from the free throw line. 

We had all 9 players contribute to this win, including key minutes in the 2nd quarter from sophomore Ella Soule, when we had players in early foul trouble.
