The Chesaning Indians hosted the Alma Panthers on Tuesday.  Alma came out red hot in the first quarter jumping to a 23-7 lead.  Chesaning fought back in the second scoring 12 points but still was down 36-19 at halftime.  The second half the team showed their resolve to show they could compete and held a 32-28 second half scoring advantage, but fell 64-51. 

I am proud of how the team battled back to cut it to a 10 point deficit late in the 4th quarter, it would have been easy to pack it in, but this team does not quit.

Alma (9-6) was led by Gracie Mellinger who scored 30 points.

Chesaning (5-9) will host New Lothrop Friday night at 530pm
