Chesaning Baseball traveled to Montrose on Monday, May 24 and won game 1 7-1. Tyler Sager had another great game on the mound throwing a complete game 2-hitter. Sager pitched 7 innings giving up 1 run on 2 hits and no walks while striking out 16 Montrose batters. With the win Sagerś record improves to 5-1 in the MMAC and 6-1 overall.
At the plate the Indians were led by Sager, Lucas Powell, Logan Fulk and Zach Marzluft as each had 2 hits in the game. Sager was 2-3 with 3 RBI and scored 1 run.
