The Chesaning Varsity Baseball team rebounded from their first loss of the season to defeat Ithaca in Game 2 6-4. Once again Ithaca took the early lead on the Indians scoring 3 runs in the 2nd inning for a 3-0 advantage. Chesaning fought back scoring 4 runs in the 3rd inning to take the lead, however Ithaca scored a run and tied the score in the top of the 4th at 4-4. The Indians responded, scoring 2 runs in the bottom half of the inning to complete the comeback 6-4. Logan Fulk started in the mound for Chesaning and pitched 3 innings while giving up 4 earned runs on 6 hits, with 3 walks, 2 hit batters and 4 strikeouts. Eli Escamilla once again closed the game out pitching the last inning. Escamilla gave up no runs or hits, but did allow 2 walks in the final frame.

The Indians bats were quiet, only notching 2 hits in the game. Nash Wendling was 1-2 and scored 1 run. Keighan Stoddard was also 1-2 with 1 RBI and scored 1 run. Eli Escamilla walked 2 times and scored a run. Tyler Sager walked 1 time and scored 1 run. Brady Sager also walked 1 time in the game.

With the win Chesaning improves to 5-1 on the season.
