The Chesaning Indians won Game 2 of the MMAC doubleheader against Lakeville, 16-0. Nash Wendling toed the rubber for the Indians and threw a 1 hitter over the 4 inning mercy rule game.  Lakeville’s lead off batter notched a single in the bottom of the 1st inning and Wendling then retired the next 12 batters with 7 outs via the strikeout. With the win Wendling improves his record to 3-0 on the season. Chesaning jumped out to an early lead scoring 8 runs in the top of the 1st inning. The Indians then added 3 runs in the 3rd and finished the scoring with 5 runs in the 4th inning.

Offensively the Indians were once again led by Nash Wendling who went 3-3 with 1 walk and also collected 2 RBI’s. Eli Escamilla went 1-2 with 2 walks, 2 RBI’s and scored 1 run. Lucas Powell went 1-3 with 1 walk and scored 2 runs. Brady Sager went 1-4 with 3 RBI’s and scored 1 run. Tyler Sager went 1-4 with 1 RBI and scored 2 runs. Logan Fulk went 1-4 and scored 2 runs. Keighan Stoddard went 1-4 with 2 RBI’s and scored 1 run.

With the win the Indians improve to 4-0 in the MMAC and 7-1 overall.
