The Chesaning Varsity Baseball team traveled to Mt. Morris on Monday for a Mid-Michigan Activities Conference contest and came away with a victory in game 1, 12–0. Tyler Sager took the mound for the Indians and when the dust settled, Sager recorded his 4th consecutive no-hitter. Sager pitched all 5 innings in the mercy rule game and struck out 12 batters while allowing no hits, walks or runs. With the win, Sager’s record improves to 6-0 on the season. The Indians took an early lead in the top of the 1st inning when Sager walked with 2 outs and ended up scoring to make the score 1-0. The score remained 1-0 until the top of the 4th inning when the Indians broke the game open. Chesaning sent 14 batters to the plate which led to 10 runs in the 4th inning. After 4 innings Chesaning led 11-0. In the 5th inning the Indians added 1 more run to make the final score 12-0.

Offensively Chesaning was led by:

Brady Sager 2-3, 3 RBI’s and scored 1 run.

With the win the Indians improve to 13-1-1 and 7-0 in the MMAC.
