The Chesaning Varsity Baseball team completed the sweep of Mt. Morris by winning game 2, 11-1. Nash Wendling toed the rubber for the Indians and kept the Panther batters off balance all night enroute to earning the win. During the 5 inning mercy rule game, Wendling allowed 4 hits, 1 earned run while walking 2 batters and striking out 3. With the win, Wendling’s record improves to 5-0. Chesaning had 14 hits in the game and scored early and often in the game. The Indians started the scoring in the top of the 1st inning with 2 runs, and followed that with 2 runs in the 2nd, 3 in the 3rd and finished the scoring with 4 runs in the 4th inning. Mt. Morris scored their lone run in the 2nd inning.

Offensively the Indians were led by:

Tyler Sager 1-3 and scored 1 run.

Lucas Powell 1-4, 1 RBI and scored 1 run.

Eli Escamilla 1-4, 1 RBI and scored 1 run.

With the win the Indians improve to 14-1-1 and 8-0 in the MMAC.
