The Chesaning Varsity Baseball team traveled to Carrollton on Tuesday, May 17 and came away with a game 1 victory 15-0. Chesaning jumped in front of the Cavaliers in the top of the 1st inning by scoring 7 runs. The big hit in the inning was a single by Dylan James that drove in Brady Sager and Logan Fulk. The Indians scored 7 more runs in the 2nd inning. Tyler Sager led the inning off with a triple and had a line drive single to score two runs in the inning as well. The Indians added one more run in the top of the 3rd inning to make the score 15-0. Lucas Powell pitched the 3 inning mercy rule game for Chesaning and earned his 2nd victory of the season. Powell pitched 3 innings and gave up 1 hit, walked 1 batter and struck out 5.

With the win, Chesaning improves to 19-3-1 overall.
