Chesaning Boys Cross-Country finished 5th out of 12 teams at the 35th Annual Chesaning Invitational. Chesaning was led by Levi Maier who ran a season best time of 17:24, crossing the line in 4th place overall. Mason Struck continues to cement himself as the Indians number 2 runner, setting a season best time of 19:31 to take 28th place. Senior Dakota Sutter ran his best race of the season, finishing in 19:32 for 29th place. Corbin Walker secured 36th place with a finishing time of 19:58. Jaden James (20:03) and Caleb Walker (20:49) also set new season best performances at the meet. Rounding out the Chesaning team were Eric Barancik (21:20) and Aiden Trizl (27:26). Chesaning returns to competition on Thursday, September 23rd at the Frankenmuth Invitational.
