Chesaning Boys Varsity Cross-Country ended their team season with a 5th place team finish at the MHSAA Regional hosted by Lansing Catholic in DeWitt. Despite an overall slow course Chesaning was able to post some excellent individual finishes. Levi Maier led the way for the Tribe with a 9th place finish to match his ranking entering the day. The 9th place finish earned Maier All-Region honors and a spot at the Division 3 State Finals. Corbin Walker and Dakota Sutter ran neck and neck to take 35th and 36th place overall. Walker's finish marked a 7th place improvement on his rankings, with Sutter’s finishing place marked a full 20 places higher than his rankings. Mason Struck was next for the Indians with a 39th place finish to beat his rankings by 11 places.Caleb Walker improved by over 20 places to take 42nd place and finish his freshman season as the 5th runner for Chesaning. Jaden James in 54th place and Eric Barancik in 57th place completed the Chesaning team.
