The Chesaning Indians competed in their 2nd 5K meet of the season at the Birch Run Early Invitational. The Indians finished in 13th place out of 20 competing teams. 4 of 5 Chesaning runners set new season best times during competition. Jaxon Hemgesberg again finished first for the Indians with a 19:16 finishing time, besting his personal best by 45 seconds. Cole Maier came in next for the Tribe with a 20:35. Completing the Chesaning team were Jayce Hyde (21:20), Mat Amman (23:34), and Carter Bolan (27:36). Chesaning’s next competition is Wednesday, September 5th @ Uncle John’s Cider Mill.
