The Chesaning varsity football team finished off the regular season with a 44- 6 win over Carrollton. The team finished with a 8-1 record. Offensively, Brayden Florian had a strong game with 162 yards rushing and one rushing touchdown.. Max Volk played an outstanding game with 77 yards passing but a total of 4 passing touchdowns. Brady Sager had two touchdown receptions while Brayden Florian and Mason Struck each had one touchdown through the air. Alec Fowler took back a 73 yards kickoff return for a touchdown. Alec Fowler led the way with 8 tackles and 1 TFl. Cal Frasier and Gavin Birhcmeier each had 6 tackles. The team will now wait to see who they will play in the playoffs. Something that has not been done since 2007.
