The Chesaning Indians varsity football got to host the first round of the playoffs at home against Central Montcalm. The Indians were victorious with a 31-12 win over the Hornets. It was a great team win and a lot of different players stepped up to help the team! As with every week, Brayden Florian had another strong game with 233 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns. Max Volk had one rushing touchdown and one passing touchdown. Adam Woodcock was back in action after his injury and had a touchdown reception. On the defensive side of the ball, Braydn Florian had 7 tackles and Keighan Stoddard had 7 tackles with 2 TFL. Cal Fraiser and Michael Clover each had 6 tackles.Jordan Nixon had a critical interception right before half. With the win, the Indians improve to 9-1 and will face Midland Bullock Creek next Friday at Morningstar field!
