The Chesaning Boys Varsity Golf team defeated Ovid-Elsie and Webberville in a 9-hole match at Twin Brooks Golf Club in Chesaning on Tuesday, April 23. The Indians finished with a team score of 160. Ovid-Elsie shot 198 and Webberville shot 179. The Indians were led by freshman Luke Skaryd with a 1-over par 37. Quinton Everett carded a 40, Charlie Clover finished with a 41, and Will Pierce fired a 42. Also scoring for Chesaning were Justin Lange and Josh Lange, each carding a 45. The Indians travel to Vienna Greens in Clio on Thursday, April 25 to face Mt. Morris.
