The CHS Boys Soccer team lost a hard fought battle 8-0 against Byron in the 77th minute Tuesday evening. The Indians dictated the pace of the game throughout the match and spent the majority of the game in the offensive zone but were unable to capitalize on the opportunities. Freshmen Blake Laskowski and Nate Ferry along with Junior Aiden Dempsey dominated the middle of the field throughout the game. Byron brought many upperclassmen into the game and their speed from long balls over our defensive line while exiting their half of the field proved to be too much for this young Indians team. Sophomore keeper Landon Soule recorded 21 saves against 28 shots. Many of the shots he faced were one on one opportunities against the Byron attackers, including a penalty kick which Landon saved.
