On September 19th, the Indians varsity soccer team lost to North Branch 2-1 in their first game of the Byron Invitational. The Indians began the contest slow forcing keeper Landon Soule to make multiple amazing saves to keep his team in the game. Midfielder Zac Garno scored in the second half to tie the game at 1-1 off an assist by Nate Ferry. North Branch scored again with 8 seconds remaining in the game to take the win.
