FREELAND MIDDLE SCHOOL/HIGH SCHOOL: 5
The Indians lost to Freeland 5-0 in the third game of the tournament. This game began immediately following the second game in the tournament without a break for the young Indian team. The speed of the Freeland defenders and forwards gave the Indians problems throughout the game. The Indians were down 1-0 at halftime. With the heat index exceeding 100 degrees the second half was more challenging for a young team that had already been on the field for more than 90 minutes without breaks. Freeland scored again early in the 2nd half. Goaltender Landon Soule faced an onslaught of shots throughout the second half as the Indians wore down. Freeland scored three more times in the final 5 minutes facing little to no pressure from the Indian's defense.
