BYRON AREA HIGH SCHOOL: 3
The Indians lost to Byron 3-1 Thursday evening. Blake Laskowski scored early in the first half. The Indians dominated the field throughout the game, but were eventually worn down by the 'long ball' and speedy Byron forwards. As the majority of the game was spent in Byron's half of the field it is concerning we only managed to get one goal. Each of Byron's goals came from kick and run plays where we were beat in a foot race while trying to hold the ball in their zone.
