Chesaning varsity soccer defeated Lakeville Tuesday evening 7-1. Scoring for the Indians were Zachary Harlan (3), Justin Lange, Luke Barta, Nate Ferry, and Aiden Trzil. Goals were assisted by Justin Lange (2), Zac Garno (2), Blake Laskowski, Luke Barta, and Zachary Harlan. John Talbot stopped six of seven shots in goal for the Indians. Twenty-one Indians saw action and contributed to the win. Once again, the defensive backs led by Josh Lange and Eli Keck kept Lakeville from crossing the half throughout the contest. This allowed outside backs Wyatt Persails, Landon Diener, and Jaxon Plowman to slip into the offense attack all night.
The Indians celebrated departing seniors Nate Ferry, Blake Laskowski, Josh Lange, and Zac Garno during halftime of the contest. After the game the Indians celebrated their second MMAC Conference Championship in as many years, repeating as champions.
