Four Chesaning Wrestlers Advance to Individual Regionals!
Congratulations to Brenden Quackenbush, Mathew Warby, Connor Everett and Aurali Garcia.
Brenden Quackenbush earned the title District Champion in the Heavy Weight division.
Brendon is a returning State Qualifier and went 4-0 on the day. He won an exciting double over time 2-1 decision over Alma's Caden Adams.
Connor Everett, with 4 wins and 1 loss on the day, earned an impressive 3rd place finish, at 135, after defeating Darrin Alward of Durand in a close 6-4 decision.
Senior Matt Warby had a stellar day of wrestling with three wins and two losses earning his way to a 4th place finish.
Freshman Aurali Garcia finished 4th on the podium making her mark as the first female wrestler from Chesanng High School to ever qualify for the varsity regional finals.
