The Chesaning Indians Track and Field team finished 7th in the State at the MHSAA Division 3 State Finals meet, earning 22 points. Chesaning had 10 individuals qualify for the meet and competed in 10 events overall at the meet, scoring in 5 of them. This was an exciting opportunity for the athletes which resulted in some Personal and Season Best. Chesaning had 8 athletes earn All-State recognition by finishing in the top 8 in their events. Juniors Jaden James and Brenden Quackenbush along with Sophomore Levi Maier all earned individual All-State Performances. James finished 3rd in the 400 meter dash, Quackenbush placed 4th in the Shot Put, and Maier finished 8th in the 800 meter run. The All-State 400 meter Relay team of Isaac Zamora, Grant Sampson, Henry Hill, and Matt Warby placed 5th, with the All-State 1600 meter relay team of Jaden James, Henry Hill, Corbin Walker, and Levi Maier ending the meet with a 3rd place finish.
