The Chesaning Indians JV Baseball Team defeats Carrollton 14-3.
The Tribe got things started in the first inning with a sac fly by Kayden Witt to score the first run. After Carrollton came back with two runs of their own in the bottom of the second, they took a 2-1 lead.
In the top of the third inning, the Indians took the lead for good with seven runs. Blake Laskowski singled on his first pitch at bat two score two runs. Zach Garno also singled in that inning a few batters later to score 3 runs.
Banks Deal gets the victor for the Chesaning Indians. He pitched three and two thirds innings giving up 3 hits and three runs while striking out seven. Conner Polley came in for relief and pitched two and one third innings giving up no runs and striking out two.
Blain Butcher and Zach Garno all had multiple hits for Chesaning. Garno led the tribe going 3-4 at the plate.
