The Chesaning Indians JV Boys, fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 9-4 loss to Frankenmuth Eagles JV on Thursday.

It took a few innings for the Chesaning boys to get the bats going in this game.  Frankenmuth put up 3 runs in the first, 1 in the second, and 2 in the fourth inning.  However, in the bottom of the 4^th, the Indians started to settle in, and work the Frankemuth pitcher.  They scored 4 runs in the bottom of the 4^th to make it a ball game again.

Unfortunately Frankenmuth answered right back scoring 3 in the top of the fifth putting the game out of reach for Chesaning.

Banks Deal took the loss for the tribe, allowing 7 hits, and 4 runs over four innings while striking out 4.  Unfortunately, this was compounded by some costly errors in the field that ran his pitch count up, and extended the innings. 

Brayden Florian went 2-3 at the plate leading the tribe in hits for the game.  Blake Laskowski, and Ethan Hinojosa also had hits in the game.  Luke Barta, Zach Garno, Eli Keck, Laskowski, and Hinojosa all had RBI’s in the game.
