The Chesaning Indians JV squad loses 11-6 against the Frankenmuth Eagles JV boys in the second game of the double-header.
Despite the loss, Chesaning JV did collect seven hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Frankenmuth Eagles JV had seven hits on their way to victory.
Eli Keck takes his first loss of the season for Chesaning. He pitched one and two-thirds innings, allowing 5 runs on three hits while striking out one. Unfortunately his time on the mound was cut short due to arm fatigue.
Blain Butcher went 2-3 at the plate to lead Chesaning in hits. Blake Laskowski, Brayden Florian, Ethan Hinojosa, Zach Garno, and Keck all had hits in the game. Keck’s hit was a triple.
Sterling Tomac, and Hinojosa had 1 RBI in the game while Keck had 2.
