Two Pitchers Work Together In No-Hitter as the Chesaning Indians JV Beats the Durand Railroaders in the second game of the double header.
Chesaning got started quick in this one as well, scoring 5 runs in the first inning and 6 runs in the second.
Ethan Hinojosa earned the win throwing 3 innings, allowing one run on zero hits striking out seven. Blain Butcher came in relief and threw one inning walking one and striking out one.
Luke Barta led the Indians with 2 hits in the game. Zach Garno, Banks Deal, Brayden Florian, Nathan Ruth, and Hinojosa all also had hits in the game.
In the bottom of the 4th inning, with Chesaning up 13 to 1, Jaxon Plowman hit a hard line drive to left-center splitting the Durand outfielders. The ball rolled to the fence and with his speed, he was able to clear the bases and get a walk off in the park home run. He led the team with 4 RBI’s.
