The Chesaning Indians JV Baseball Drops the First game in the double header to the Birch Run Panthers after Birch Run has a late game rally.
Luke Barta drew a walk in the first inning. Blake Laskowski, grounded to first, scoring Barta to take an early lead in the game.
Chesaning held the slim lead until Birch Run tied it up in the bottom of the third.
The game remained scoreless until the bottom of the fifth inning. Then the flood gates opened up and Birch Run scored 5.
Chesaning was able to get another run across in the top of the 6th, but it was not enough to push the game further.
Dylan James took the Loss for Chesaning, pitching 5 innins, allowing five hits and striking out 6.
James, Eli Keck, and Brayden Florian all had hits in the game.
