Chesaning Indians JV Takes Early Lead In Victory Over Mt. Morris 

The Chesaning Indians JV squad jumped out to an early lead over Mt. Morris JV and took home a 17-6 victory on Tuesday. Chesaning  scored on a double by Zach Garno, a single by Banks Deal, and a single by Braydn Wendling in the first inning.

Chesaning earned the victory despite allowing Mt. Morris to score four runs in the first inning. 

The Indians tallied six runs in the second inning. Garno, Deal, Wendling, Quinton Everett, and Eli Keck powered the big inning with RBIs.

Deal earned the victory on the hill for Chesaning  He allowed four hits and six runs over five innings, striking out seven.

Chesaning tallied 13 hits in the game. Garno, Deal, Luke Barta, and Wendling all had multiple hits for the tribe. Deal and Garno each collected three hits to lead Chesaning. Garno led Chesaning JV with three stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with ten stolen bases.
