The Chesaning JV Football team traveled to Ovid-Elsie on Thursday, September 23 and suffered a 27-6 loss to the Marauders. Chesaning scored its lone touchdown in the 4th quarter on a 43 yard run by Marvin Motley. 

Leading the way offensively for the Indians were:

Marvin Motley with 9 rushes for 38 yards and 1 TD.

Cal Frasier 6 carries for 39 yards. Frasier also had 1 catch for 11 yards.

Jordan Nixon ran hard all night and had 13 carries for 2 yards including a long of 32 yards. Nixon was also 1-4 passing for 11 yards and had 1 interception.

Brady Sager 2 carries for 3 yards. Sager was also 1-1 passing for 6 yards.

Defensively the Indians were led by:

Jordan Nixon 10 tackles.

Cal Frasier 6 tackles.

Marvin Motley 5 tackles. Motley also caused a fumble and recovered a fumble.

Adam Woodcock and Brady Sager each had 4 tackles.

Ryan Swartz 3 tackles and caused a fumble.

Braydn Wendling 3 tackles and recoverd a fumble.

Ethan Hinojosa 2 tackles and recovered a fumble.

Dakota Obuchowski 1 tackle.

With the loss the Indians record drops to 3-2 on the season,
