The Chesaning JV Football team defeated New Lothrop with a great comeback win 34-29. New Lothrop opened the scoring in the 1st quarter with a touchdown and the 2 point conversion failed to make the score 6-0. Later in the 1st quarter Chesaning tied the game when Conner Qualls connected with Mikey Clover for a 23 yard touchdown pass. The 2 point conversion attempt was no good and the score was tied 6-6. New Lothrop once again scored in the 1st quarter and added the 2 point conversion to make the score 14-6 in favor of the Hornets. On New Lothrop's next series, Chesaning's Jordan Nixon intercepted a pass and had a great 38 yard return for a Chesaning touchdown. The 2 point conversion was no good making the score 14-12. New Lothrop closed out the scoring in the 1st half with a touchdown and 2 point conversion to make the halftime score 22-12. There was no scoring in the 3rd quarter, but the fireworks were about to happen in the 4th quarter. New Lothrop scored first and added the extra point to make the score New Lothrop 29 Chesaning 12. On Chesaning's next drive Marvin Motley scored on a 8 yard touchdown run and Max Volk connected with Keighan Stoddard for the 2 point conversion pass to make the score 29-20. Chesaning got the ball back quickly and Volk connected with Nixon on a 14 yard TD pass and Motley ran in the 2 point conversion to make the score New Lothrop 29 Chesaning 28. Ryan Swartz then recovered the onside kick for the Indians with 23 seconds left in the game. Two plays later, Volk once again connected with Nixon, this time for a 38 yard touchdown pass and the 2 point conversion attempt was no good giving Chesaning the lead 34-29. With 8 seconds left in the game, the Indians defense tackled the Hornet receiver on the last play of the game, to give the Indians the thrilling 34-29 victory!

Leading the way offensively for the Indians were:

Max Volk was 7-8 passing for 125 yards, 2 touchdowns and one 2 point conversion. Volk also had 4 yards rushing.

Conner Qualls was 1-2 passing for 22 yards, 1 touchdown and 35 yards rushing on 5 carries.

Brady Sager was 1-4 passing for 16 yards and 10 yards rushing on 1 carry.

Jordan Nixon had 4 catches for 70 yards and 2 touchdowns. Nixon also had 3 carries for 7 yards.

Adam Woodcock had 2 catches for 30 yards and 1 touchdown. Woodcock also has 1 rush for 3 yards.

Keighan Stoddard had 2 catches for 14 yards and one 2 point conversion.

Mikey Clover had 1 catch for 22 yards and 1 touchdown.

Brayden Florian had 8 carries for 86 yards.

Marvin Motley had 4 carries for 27 yards, 1 touchdown and one 2 point conversion.

Cal Frasier had 2 carries for 15 yards.

Leading the way defensively for the Indians were:

Jordan Nixon 8 tackles and 1 interception returned for a touchdown.

Quinton Everett 6 tackles.

Cal Frasier and Braydn Wendling each with 5 tackles.

Brayden Florian, Keighan Stoddard, Seth Schlicht and Ethan Hinojosa all had 4 tackles.

Marvin Motley and Ryan Swartz both had 3 tackles.

Adam Woodcock 3 tackles and an interception.
