Your Chesaning Indians traveled to Birch Run to take on the Panthers and couldn’t overcome a slow start falling 23-6. Scoring the touchdown for the Indians was Logan Vogelaar from one yard out after Dylon James connected on a deep ball to Danny Tijernia for 44 yards. Defensively, your Indians had a fumble recovery and two sacks. Collin Brabant came away with the recovery on a muffed punt from the Panthers and Damion Obuchowski and Hunter Brabaw each had a sack. Leading the team in tackles on the night was Griffin Sulen with eight followed by Brabant with six and Brabaw with five. Your Indians will look to rebound next Thursday as they travel to Montrose to take on the Rams.
