The Lady Indian's started the season out with their second straight win tonight beating Mayville 63-6.  The Indians are now 2-0 on the season.  Mayville took an early lead but then the Indians defense took over holding Mayville to 6 points in the first and never gave up another point for the rest of the game.  All of the Lady Indian's contributed tonight with all 9 players scoring.   "We started out rough, but once we settled down we did some good things.  I am happy all of the players were able to score.  We have a lot of things to work on yet but we are off to a good start. I am very happy with some stats 41 rebounds and 25 steals are good stats.  We need to clean some things up, but all in all we are moving in the right direction!"  Lilly Skyard led all scores with 16 points, 5 steals, 3 rebounds and 1 assist. Karissa Ferry had her second straight doudle double game with 15 points 16 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocked shots.  Avery Butcher 9 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist and 3 steals.  Alexia Mugute 7 points, 2 rebounds and 2 steals.  Kylie Morse 5 points, 5 rebounds, 2 asssists, and a blocked shot.  Ava Devereaux 4 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals. Meghan Florian 4 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals. Presley Slankard 2 points, 4 steals and a rebound.  Allison Oakes 1 point, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal.  

The Indian's are back in action on Tuesday February 23. The Lady Indians travel to New Lothrop for a conference match up, tip off is scheduled for 7 PM.
