The Indians traveled to Alma and won a very exciting game 42-40. The game was tied 6-6 after one quarter and the Lady Indians found themselves down 19-13 at the half. It was a low scoring 3rd quarter and the team outscored Alma 7-4 but still trailed 23-20. In a fast paced final quarter, the Indians outscored Alma 22-17 to pull out the victory. I was very happy with how well we played defense tonight. Avery Butcher and Ava Devereaux played great defense holding Jordan Cleveland to only 5 points. They were able to do this because their teammates played great help defense.
