In our first game back after the holiday break, the Indians got a win at home beating Mt. Morris 43-40. Tonight was not our best effort but we hung on to win. We started slow in the first quarter and found our selves down 13-6 after the first quarter. The team came alive in the second quarter outscoring Mt. Morris 19-3 to take a halftime lead of 25-16. That second quarter was what won the game for us as we were outscored 9-6 in the third quarter and 15-12 in the fourth. Give credit to Mt Morris for continuing to battle. Our team will continue to improve and learn from this game as we head into the tough conference games ahead.
