The five seniors started the game and jumped to a quick lead 18-5 in the first quarter.  The Montrose Rams came back in the 2nd quarter and then played us even 9-9, but we had a halftime lead of 27-14. Montrose got the edge on us in the 3rd quarter 10-9 and we played them even in the fourth quarter to win the game 48-36. With the win the Indians improve to 13-5 and 9-4 in the MMAC and the Rams dropped to 9-9 and 4-9 in league play.

We honored the five seniors after the game. All five have each been instrumental in out team's success this season. We are thankful for their contributions and leadership. Lilly Skaryd continues to excel on the court, leading the team with 16 points, scoring 10 in the first quarter. Kennedy McAlpine is our floor general and her defense was relentless. Avery Butcher is just an all around great athlete who never quits hustling. Kylie Morse had one of her best games tonight and I was so happy for her as she made 4/6 from the free throw line. Alexia Mugute is a great teammate and is always cheering on those around her while being a force inside the paint.
