The Lady Indians grinded out a win Tuesday night vs a relentless Clio team, 35-34. In what started as another runaway game for the Indians turned out to be a fight to the end.  The Indians jumped out on top 11-4 in the first quarter but then could not finish on the offensive end in the second quarter and was outscored 8-6. The halftime score was 17-12.  Both teams came out and scored 11 points each in the 3rd quarter and Clio outscored us 11-7 in the 4th but we held on to win the game.  Its not always pretty and tonight we did just enough to win.  Our defense was good, our rebounding was not.  We did not shoot the ball well tonight and missed a lot of opportunities of passing to the open teammate.  While we did not meet most of our goals we set before the game we did succeed at our number one goal of winning.  Clio gave us all we wanted tonight and we feel fortunate to have won the game.  I am proud of our team as they won in our last home game of the season and improved our record to 14-5, Clio fell to 8-11 on the year.
