In the regular season finale the Indians traveled to Mt Morris for a MMAC matchup. The Indians started the game shooting well, gaining a 11-5 lead after one quarter of play. Mt Morris is a scrappy team that battled us in the second quarter but we were able to go into the locker room at halftime leading 30-22. We talked it over at half and decided we needed to be more physical and step up our intensity.  The Indians came out on fire in the 3rd quarter led by Lilly Skaryd and Kennedy McAlpine who each hit a 3 pointer to jump start our offense.  We outscored them 16-6 in the 3rd quarter.  Our defense was spectacular as we held Mt Morris to 10 second half points and won the contest 62-32. Mt Morris was led in scoring by Ja'Nae Branch who had 17 points.  This was the 6th win in a row by the Lady Indians who finished the regular season 15-5 and 10-4 in the MMAC (3rd place).  Mt. Morris ends their season 2-17 and 0-13 in league play.

The Indians will start district action on Wednesday at 7pm playing the winner of the Mt. Morris/Owosso game being played on Monday night. The Indians earned the #2 seed in district 40.

District 40 of Division 2 is being played at Ovid-Elsie High School.  Ovid-Elsie is the #1 seed and will play the winner of the Corunna/Flint Hamady game.
