In a matchup of the league leaders, the Ovid-Elsie Marauders (5-2, 4-0) came out on top. Tough defense by OE led to 30 turnovers by Chesaning along with a season low 29 shot attempts proved too much to overcome. OE jumped out to a 23-3 lead in the first quarter and led 34-8 at half time. Running clock started in the 3rd quarter with the Indians down 52-9 heading into the 4th quarter before scoring 7 points to finish the game with a final score of 54-16. The team now heads into winter break to begin preparations for the second half of the season.
