In the regular season finale the Chesaning Lady Indians (9-12, MMAC 5-8) lost to the Durand Railroaders (14-8, MMAC 7-5) 47-38.

The Indians came out on fire and led 16-9 after the first quarter before Durand came storming back and held a slim 26-25 halftime lead.  The Indians struggled with turnovers in the second half and could not get the ball to fall in the basket. The 3rd quarter saw the Railroaders widen the lead to 38-31and then outscored the Indians 9-7 in the 4th quarter to get the win. 

I am proud of our team.  We played hard all season with pride and a lot of heart.  The team has improved so much over the course of the season.  We are looking forward to post season play and taking our defensive intensity with us into our game vs Flint Beecher on Monday night in the first round of district play.  The game will be played in New Lothrop with tip off at 530pm.
