The Chesaning Indians won 57-33 in their opening round district game versus Flint Beecher on Monday night.

The team came out on fire in the first quarter scoring 22 and followed it up in the second quarter with another 14 points while holding Beecher to 22 points in the first half. With a 36-22 lead at the half, the Indians did not let up scoring another 18 points in the 3rd to take a commanding lead of 54-29 into the 4th quarter.

Defensive intensity led the way for the team getting lots of good looks at the basket early and often.  Offensively the team did a nice job of passing it around and finding the open teammate for the best shot.

The Indians will play in the district semi-finals against New Lothrop on Wednesday night at 530pm.  The game will be played in New Lothrop.  Come out and cheer on the team!
