ST. CHARLES COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL: 14
In game 2 the offenses exploded for 21 runs and 29 hits as the Indains fell 14-7. The Indians outhit the Bulldogs 17-12 but couldn't put together enough hits when they needed to score more runs. The offensive leaders for Chesaning were:
Kylie Florian 3 hits with a triple run 2 rbi
Ava Devereaux 3 hits with a double and a run
Hannah Cooper 3 hits run 3 rbi
Ellie DuRussel, Abbey VanHarren and Allsion Oakes each had 2 hits
Hailey Rolfe and Hannah Oakes each added a hit
"We hit the ball well but had some bad breaks during the game that took us out of some possible big innings. The girls continue to fight and never give up and had we not had those bad breaks the game might have turned out differently." Chesaning is 7-10 overall and 3-5 in MMAC play.
