In game 2 the Indians bats started off where they left off at the end of game 1 pounding out 20 hits in a 13-4 victory.  Ava Devereaux continued her hot hitting with 4 more hits in the nightcap adding 2-2B and a 3B scoring 2 runs and 2 rbi while also getting the win in the circle going 6 innings 6 hits 4 runs 4 earned runs 6 strikeouts and 6 walks.  Also offensive leaders for Chesaning:

"Even though we outhit LakeVille 34-10 on the night, we couldn't overcome the mental errors and mistakes to get both victories.  One thing I have always said all year about this young team is they never give up and fight right until the end, I think the future is bright for this team and the experience of playing varsity at a young age will help them in the coming years!  I am very proud of this group and all the hard work they are putting in.  I hope they continue to work hard and improve the rest of the season!"  The Indians are 8-11 overall and 4-6 in MMAC action.
