Abbey VanHarren, Hannah Cooper, Bryn Mahoney, Hannah Oakes each collected a hit.

Devereaux got the win in the circle going 5 innings giving up 6 hits 1 earned run 8 strikeouts 3 walks

"We played all around better today, more like I think this team is capable of.  Our pitchers are still issuing too many walks but to their credit they were able to pitch out of trouble a few times.  Defensively we only committed 2 errors on the night which is also an improvement from the last few games, and offensively we put the ball in play when we needed.  This team is still learning and growing and with just a few weeks left in the season hopefully these wins will start some good momentum to finish out the season."

Chesaning stands at 10-13 overall and 6-6 in MMAC play and finish out the season with Alma at home on 5/19, at Montrose on 5/24, and home against Carrollton on 6/1 before starting district play on 6/5 against Valley Lutheran.
