OVID-ELSIE HIGH SCHOOL: 16
Chesaning took on OE in the season as well as the conference opener and fell in the first game 16-11. The Indians outhit OE in game 1 18-9 but some costly errors ultimately did the young Indians in. OE jumped out to a 7-0 lead but Chesaning plated 4 runs in the bottom of the 3rd to trail 7-4. The teams traded 2 runs in the 4th while Chesaning picked up a run in the 5th to close the gap to 9-7. OE outscored the Indians 7-4 over the last 2 innings to make the final 16-11. Hailey Rolfe picked up where she left off last season, when she was an All-State selection, tallying 4 hits with a 3B and 2B scored a run 3RBI and 3SB. Other performers for the Indians:
