DURAND AREA HIGH SCHOOL: 9
Game 2 was another back and forth affair with Chesaning taking game 2 13-9 while outhitting Durand 14-2. The Indians trailed 9-7 going into the 5th but erupted for 6 runs to take the 13-9 lead and in the bottom of the inning, Ellie DuRussel struck out the side to finish the game. Offensive leaders for the Indians were:

"We played very well overall tonight, we are hitting the ball well and starting to score some runs. We still need to clean up the errors and little mental mistakes but overall I am encouraged with the way we are starting to play."
