The Lady Indians Track & Field team traveled to New Lothrop to compete in the 2nd of 3 MMAC League meets. They took a 3rd place finish with 123 points, finishing behind tough New Lothrop (192) and Byron (149) teams. We scored points in 15/17 events, earning 16 new personal/season best performances during the meet.
Karlie Lewis had a strong day for the Indians, starting for the winning 4x100 and 4x200 relay teams as well as taking first place in the 400 meter dash and second place in the 200 meter dash. Olivia Grover ran strong for the distance events, finishing 2nd in the 800 meter run and 1600 meter run, in addition to serving as the anchor leg on the 3rd place 4x00 relay team. Natalie Drope scored in all four of her events, running anchor leg for the winning 4x100 and 4x200 relay teams, as well as placing 3rd in the 100 hurdles and 3rd in the discus.
