Chesaning Girls Track & Field began conference competition with a second place finish to league leader New Lothrop. New Lothrop finished with 167 points to Chesaning’s 145 points. The Lady Indians were followed in scoring by Ovid-Elsie(128.5), Durand(72), Byron(61.5), Lakeville(56), Mt. Morris(10), and Montrose(5). “Our girls came out and competed with all they had today. New Lothrop is a tough team and we know we need to keep putting in the work to challenge them for that top spot when we face them again next week. I am proud of the preference and determination that this team has shown to this point in the season.”
