The Chesaning Lady Indians hosted the MHSAA Region 30 Track Meet, finishing 8th with 41 points, just 1.5 points separating 8th and 5th place. “Our girls have one of the toughest division 3 regional assignments in the state, with some of the top state qualifiers and overall teams. Our girls wanted to show that they can compete with the best and that is exactly what they did. Our relay teams were a strength with all four relays earning All-Region honors. Field events were another area of strength as we placed well in shot put, high jump, and pole vault. Overall we have a young and eager team that will continue working on reaching their potential.” Chesaning Chesaninlooks to close out the season by hosting the MMAC League Championship meet on Tuesday, followed by Reiber and Jackson  competing in the MHSAA State Finals on June 3rd. Come on out and support the Indians as they look to battle in the MMAC Conference Championship.
